With million users and premium subscribers, Spotify is considered as the king of all music streaming applications. This application is the best way to listen to music on your device. As being music leader it's not that Spotify is free from issues and problems. It supports a huge number of devices and catalogues and hence it comes out with several issues on a regular basis. This article will describe all those issues and their solutions.
Spotify could not be started:
It is windows specific issue and pops up a lot. Usually, users face this issue while launching Spotify. Everything runs very smoothly but it accidentally it crashes when the client is all about to open it on the device.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps-
1. After downloading the Spotify installer, save it to your desktop.
2. Select the properties by right-clicking the installer.
3. Open the compatibility tab and run this program in compatibility mode.
4. Now run the installer.
5. If all these tricks don’t work, boot into safe mode and repeat those steps again.
Local files are not being added to a playlist:
Using this app user can easily add locally saved music into the desktop client. Spotify’s music is allowed to mix with your own music tracks in the playlist and you can enjoy them later. You can drag and drop your favourite files into playlists but now it has become a little bit complicated. To resolve this issue, go to the settings and follow Edit>Spotify>Preferences>Local Files.
Users are not able to download songs for offline mode:
Whether you are in car, gym or in office Spotify provides you to download songs for offline playback. But they have some restrictions. Every device has a limit that they can only sync about 3500 songs for the offline mode. If you cross that limit, you will not be capable to download more tracks until you don’t unsync some existing music.
No more tracks are added to a music player:
Many users don’t think that their music has a 10000 song limit. If you hut the barrier, it would definitely give you a nasty shock. This restriction is really annoying but till now Spotify has not launched any plans to change it anytime.
To overcome this issue, create a new library and add music to them. One library contains 10000 songs. If one library fills completely, you can create library 2, library 3 and so on.
